**Job Summary**:
The Placement Officer is responsible for facilitating the placement of engineering students into suitable employment opportunities. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with employers, organizing placement drives, and guiding students in their career development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Employer Relations**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with companies and organizations for student placements.
- Conduct regular visits to industries and organizations to promote the college and its graduates.
- **Student Guidance**:

- Assist students in preparing for interviews, including resume writing, interview techniques, and job search strategies.
- Provide career counseling and guidance to students regarding job opportunities and career paths.
- **Placement Coordination**:

- Manage the placement process, including scheduling interviews and coordinating logistics for placement drives.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of student profiles and employer requirements.
- Monitor and report on placement statistics and trends.
- **Market Research**:

- Conduct research on industry trends, skills in demand, and emerging job markets.
- Keep abreast of changes in the employment landscape and adapt placement strategies accordingly.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in placement services, career counseling, or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with students, faculty, and employers.
- Knowledge of the job market and industry trends.

**Skills**:

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and placement management software.
- Strong networking and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to travel for industry visits and events.
- Commitment to student success and career development.

**Salary**:

- Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
