You’ll be our: Deputy Financial Controller

You’ll be based at: IBC Knowledge Park, Bengaluru

You’ll be Aligned with: Sr. Financial Controller

You’ll be a member of: Corporate Finance & Accounts

What you’ll do at Ather:

- Key member of the Controllership team having primary accountability for
- Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Record to report (R2R)
- Invest to Divest (Asset Management)
- Support other core functions - treasury operations, Order to Cash (O2C)
- Lead periodic book closure routines incl profile closures,
- Develop & manage framework for account reconciliations incl process, tools, governance etc
- Issue periodic MIS reports to management, lenders, etc
- Manage vendor relationships (outsource partners, consultants, etc)
- Lead ERP enhancement projects and automate operational routines
- Lead periodic audits, limited reviews, due diligences with external auditors (Big4)
- Develop standard operating procedures and periodically review them with specialists
- Accountable for compliances matters - tax, banking, etc
- Maintain adequate Internal controls framework - documentation, RCM, etc

Here’s what we are looking for:

- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and team management skills
- In-depth experience of all finance processes ; IndAS accounting
- Expertise in SAP various modules
- Experience in building scaling Finance teams, systems, processes
- Experience in handling accounts of listed entities
- Proficiency in MS Office, GSuite
- Ability to build successful relationship across stakeholders
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within strict timelines

You bring to Ather:

- Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with industry experience spanning Automotive, Retail, Ecommerce, etc
- Relevant work experience of 12-14 years (post qualification) with at least 3-4 years’ experience in Controllership
- Experience working in/with Big4 company in audit/accounting domain is added advantage
