This position is primarily responsible for providing and assisting support for all India procurement of Indirect purchase. As such, the incumbent indirects sourcing teams that are responsible for executing, negotiating, implementing and maintaining competitively advantageous supply arrangements for the regional indirect purchasing.

**V. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Within the sourcing category of their responsibility:

- Identifications of bidders/ sub-contractors for the goods/ services under indirect purchasing and their registration in SAP.
- Issuance of RFQ.
- Seek technical approval from respective discipline on techno-commercial offers, making comparative statements and recommendations to Senior Management for review and approval;
- Creation of SAP PO and release. Clear understanding of PO and Service order terms w r t supply of goods and services.
- Execute source process by developing, negotiating, implementing, and sustaining supply/ service contracts consistent with business/project requirements.
- Execute the sourcing work process in accordance with the Air Products approved work processes, including SAP purchase order processing and contract management.
- Invoice approvals in SAP, timely payment of Vendors and their payment reconciliation.
- Closely monitors the market for indirects spend and update price developments to maximize leverage and minimize risk
- Provide support and information in cost discovery, supplier discovery and development work to meet project and business needs to strengthen competitive advantage for the corporation.
- Work closely with supported businesses and functional organizations to ensure stability and cost effectiveness of supply.
- Bring innovative supplier solutions to maximize value proposition across the supply chain for indirect purchase.
- Manage supplier performance and maintain interface within supplier’s organization.
- Generate a monthly report about current spend on the indirects and using report for each prior fiscal year to forecast the yearly outlook based on current contractual obligations.

**V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- _ Qualifications - Any Graduate_
- 5 to 7 years of indirect purchase experience.
- Preferable with working experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), Industrial Gases or Petrochemicals / Chemicals or Oil & Gas Industries.
- Worked with a multinational company in a matrix set up will be an advantage.
- Detailed knowledge of commercial purchasing procedures and practices, including aspects of negotiation, contract law and claims management.
