**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Pizza Preparation**:
- Assist in preparing pizza dough, sauces, and ingredients.
- Roll out, top, and bake pizzas according to the recipes and restaurant standards.
- Maintain consistency in portion sizes and pizza quality during preparation.
- **Support Senior Chefs**:
- Work under the supervision of the Chef de Partie or Senior Pizza Chef.
- Follow the guidance and instructions provided by senior kitchen staff.
- Help with other kitchen tasks as needed, including prepping ingredients, cleaning, and dishwashing.
- **Food Quality & Presentation**:
- Ensure pizzas are prepared to the highest standards of taste, texture, and presentation.
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Report any food quality issues or shortages to the senior chefs.
- **Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness**:
- Keep the pizza station and kitchen area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils, ensuring they are used correctly and cleaned regularly.
- Help with daily mise en place and stock rotation to maintain freshness and reduce food waste.
- **Collaboration & Learning**:
- Work closely with the entire kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
- Be proactive in learning new cooking techniques, recipes, and improving pizza-making skills.
- Assist in other kitchen areas as needed, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or as a commis chef, preferably in an Italian restaurant or pizzeria.
- Basic knowledge of pizza-making and Italian cuisine is a plus but not mandatory.
- **Education**:
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, or equivalent experience preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, especially pizza preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially in food presentation.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- **Personal Traits**:
- Passionate about food and eager to learn.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines during busy periods.
- Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
