**Job brief**:
At the FSS Product Engineering team we are looking for experienced **Scrum Masters** who will help us re-invent the way we create transparent, industry leading payment products. The product team will rely on you to help develop, deliver key libraries and frameworks for the success of the products. You are an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile Methodology and is also a custodian for the Agile process and you ensure all scrum processes are used as defined for the organization. You protects the team, remove barriers to successful implementation, and keep them focused on the task at hand.

Payments and settlements are the backbone of any economy, and India has been rapidly leapfrogging from a country where cash is king to a new digitally native India that prefers to transact digitally. However, the legacy infrastructure that powers banks today is struggling to keep pace. With design-heavy architectures, disconnected interfaces, and clunky integrations, these systems are unable to economically scale-up in the face of rising demand for financial services from India’s unbanked masses.

FSS is on a mission to democratize access to financial services for 1.3 billion Bharatvasis by decoupling financial services from the legacy systems that restrict their distribution. Just like Amazon solves for the distribution of physical goods, FSS is creating the underlying digital infrastructure that will solve for the distribution of all digitally manufactured and consumed products. Having successfully led the digitization of banking in India over the past three decades, we are uniquely poised to create this game-changing digital platform. Our platform will not only be the launchpad for scores of indigenous experiments that will become the unicorns of tomorrow but will also spark-off a disruption across digital transactions, starting with financial services.

**A day in the role will look like**:

- Work with the Product owner to align teams with the product vision, sprint goals and other necessary information.
- Facilitate coaching of multiple teams across product lines.
- Create an environment of collaboration within the teams that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflict.
- Champion continuous improvement activities to improve productivity and communicate organizational impediments to leadership with clear path for resolution.
- Coach Product owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog, including detailed empirical planning.
- Appreciate the depths of Lean and Agile practices and principles, help teams to appreciate them.

**The required technical and professional expertise**:

- Ability to coach and mentor
- Expert in bringing about deep collaboration in the team and have ability to influence people at various levels.
- Should have good understanding of scaling frameworks such as LeSS and agile frameworks like Kanban, XP
- Ability to serve the team during sprint cycles by leveraging skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution and more.
- Establish an executive presence and ability to coach multiple teams across the product stacks.
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology strategies.
- Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Bosh, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Concourse is preferred

**Educational Qualification that you will have**:
Graduate degree in Science/Engineering or any other equivalent degree.
