**Position Overview**:
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing and enhancing the hospital’s image and reputation, particularly in the maternal and child healthcare sector. The PRO will create, implement, and manage communication strategies that build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff, the media, and the local community. This role plays a crucial part in promoting the hospital’s services and ensuring that its values align with the needs of the community it serves.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Media Relations**:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with local, regional, and national media outlets, including journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
- Draft and distribute press releases, articles, and statements to promote hospital services, events, and initiatives.
- Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media coverage related to hospital activities, particularly in maternal and child healthcare.
- **Brand Management**:

- Ensure that all public-facing communications are aligned with the hospital’s brand, values, and mission.
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, newsletters, posters, and other promotional content.
- Assist in managing the hospital’s social media presence and website, ensuring a consistent and professional tone in all online communication.
- **Crisis Communication**:

- Act as a spokesperson during emergencies or crises, providing clear, accurate, and timely information to the public and media.
- Collaborate with hospital management to prepare and execute crisis communication plans when needed.
- **Community Outreach & Engagement**:

- Develop and implement community engagement programs, especially focusing on maternal and child healthcare.
- Organize hospital events, such as health seminars, parenting workshops, awareness campaigns, and other outreach initiatives.
- Promote the hospital’s involvement in local charities, partnerships, and health initiatives.
- **Internal Communication**:

- Ensure effective internal communication between staff and hospital management, sharing important updates and announcements.
- Create and manage newsletters or internal communication channels that keep hospital employees informed and motivated.
- **Patient Relations**:

- Gather and analyze patient feedback to help improve hospital services and communication.
- Create patient success stories and testimonials for promotional use (with proper consent) to highlight positive outcomes and community impact.
- Work with the patient services team to handle patient complaints or concerns and ensure they are addressed promptly and appropriately.
- **Event Management**:

- Coordinate and manage hospital-related events such as health fairs, media briefings, open houses, and patient awareness campaigns.
- Work with external vendors, sponsors, and collaborators to ensure events run smoothly and achieve the desired public relations goals.
- **Public Speaking**:

- Represent the hospital at public events, conferences, and community meetings, delivering presentations or speeches when needed.
- Act as the public face of the hospital at key engagements within the local healthcare community.
- **Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor media coverage and public perception of the hospital and provide regular reports to hospital management.
- Use media monitoring tools to track news and trends related to maternal and child health, ensuring that the hospital remains relevant and visible in the public domain.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
