**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Evaluation & Management**:

- Conduct pre-operative assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Assist in formulating comprehensive care plans in collaboration with cardiothoracic surgeons.
- Monitor patient progress throughout the surgical journey, including post-operative rounds, ICU care, and inpatient recovery.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment options, and post-surgery care.
- **Surgical Assistance**:

- Assist the cardiothoracic surgeon during various procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve replacement, lung surgery, and vascular procedures.
- Perform tasks such as tissue retraction, suturing, and surgical instrumentation under the supervision of the attending surgeon.
- Participate in mínimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries as needed.
- **Post-Operative Care**:

- Manage post-operative patients in the ICU and inpatient units, including monitoring vital signs, managing ventilators, and addressing complications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery, including physiotherapists, nurses, and other specialists.
- Perform daily rounds to assess patient status, adjust treatments, and address any concerns.
- **Patient Documentation & Communication**:

- Document patient encounters, progress notes, and operative reports in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding updates on conditions, treatments, and progress.
- **Patient Education & Counseling**:

- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, rehabilitation, and follow-up care needed post-surgery.
- Discuss risks, benefits, and alternative treatments with patients to ensure informed decision-making.
- **Clinical & Administrative Support**:

- Participate in the management of the surgical schedule, patient intake, and coordination of care before and after surgeries.
- Attend cardiothoracic surgery rounds, conferences, and meetings to stay updated on new techniques and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education & Experience**: Bachelors / Master’s degree in Physician Assistant.
- Current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in [State Name] or eligible for licensure.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong clinical knowledge in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
