**Preferred work background / preferred industry**:Automated Machines / Equipment manufacturing, SPMs.

**Responsibilities**:1. Effectively communicating the designer/engineer/technician's requirements, including the need, urgency, and technical specifications, to the supplier for seamless collaboration.

2. Source and engage potential suppliers, evaluating a minimum of three options for each requirement, while actively managing and updating the approved vendor's list to maintain high standards(price, delivery time, quality, reliability) in supplier relationships.

3. Lead the end-to-end onboarding of new suppliers, from identification and assessment to selection and seamless integration into our network.

4. Floating inquiries to existing as well as new potential suppliers, receiving the competitive quotes and comparing (price, delivery time, quality, reliability) to conclude the best offer.

5. Skillfully negotiate & secure favorable terms(price, delivery time, quality). Conduct competitive negotiations to drive deflation in the region for prices & payment terms.

6. Process indents (entry into the purchase list) for ABC class items and review pending indents and purchase orders daily. Classify ABC items as follows:
A: Supplier-based BOM materials with drawings. B: Vendor-based bought-out BOM parts.
C: General low-value purchases, like safety items, housekeeping supplies, & stationary.

7. Preparation, approval & circulation of purchase orders with approved suppliers under favorable terms, while overseeing the receipt of products and initiating QC checks.

8. Implement a robust follow-up system to ensure timely material delivery, tracking major milestones to mitigate delays.

9. Proactively communicate with vendors for technical doubts, rejections, tax & invoices, and other documents to address issues promptly for a smooth workflow.

10. Monitoring performance & Maintaining advantageous long-term vendor relationships anticipating future business needs, and optimizing for cost reduction, reliability, quality, and risk mitigation through standardization and suitable contracts as per market trends.

11. Analyzing old purchase lists for better strategic planning, reconciliations with accounts and payments facilitation.

12. Maximize availability of standard parts within working capital limits and as per forecasted demand from sales teams. Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on costs.

13. Assisting Sales teams during Techno-commercial proposals with costs and delivery lead-times. Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
