Apim Architect

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain our Azure API management architecture in alignment with organizational goals and architectural principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performance API solutions.
- Oversee the entire API lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and retirement.
- Implement best practices for API governance, documentation, and testing throughout the API lifecycle.
- Optimize the performance and scalability of API Management services.
- Implement security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies
- Implement logging and reporting mechanisms to provide insights into API consumption and behavior.
- Design and customize the developer portal within Azure API Management to provide a user-friendly interface for API consumers.
- Ensure documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and accessible.
- Provide training and support to internal and external developers on using and consuming APIs.

**Qualifications**:

- Require minimum of 10 years experience in this field
- Proven hands-on experience in API Management and architecture, specifically with Azure API Management.
- Strong understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, and best practices.
- Experience with implementing security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Proficiency in monitoring and analytics tools, preferably Grafana.
- Experience in customizing and maintaining developer portals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide effective support and troubleshooting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Azure services and continuous improvement practices.
