The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of steam boilers and associated systems used in operations.
The role ensures continuous steam supply for sterilization, laundry, kitchen, and other critical services, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor steam boilers, feed water systems, and related equipment.
- Maintain optimal pressure and temperature levels as per operational requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of boilers and auxiliaries.
- Record operational data such as pressure, temperature, fuel consumption, and water levels.
- Identify and troubleshoot boiler issues and escalate major faults.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and boiler operation standards.
- Maintain boiler logbooks, maintenance records, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with the Shift Engineer and other departments for steam supply needs.
Qualifications & Experience:

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Valid Boiler Attendant Certificate (1st or 2nd Class as per requirement) is preferred.
- 2
- 4 years of experience in boiler operation, preferably in a or industrial setup.
Skills Required:

- Strong understanding of boiler systems and safety protocols
- Ability to monitor and adjust controls for efficient operation
- Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with steam usage and hygiene standards
- Good communication and documentation skills
