**Assistant Chef / Commis 1**

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**: Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes following established recipes and standards.

**Kitchen Support**: Work closely with the Chef de Partie or senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations, which may include preparing ingredients, organizing workstations, and maintaining cleanliness.

**Quality Control**: Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation in all dishes prepared.

**Learn and Grow**: Continuously improve your culinary skills and knowledge by learning from experienced chefs and taking part in training programs.

**Safety and Hygiene**: Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

**Team Collaboration**: Work in close cooperation with the kitchen team, supporting them in the execution of dishes and contributing to a positive and productive kitchen environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous culinary experience in a similar role or culinary education is preferred.
- A passion for food and a strong desire to learn and develop culinary skills.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
