Overview: **About the Role** The Visual/Interaction Designer will help to move our business forward to create dynamic digital and interactive experiences that drive leads across Gallagher digital properties. As part of the Digital Experience team on the Corporate Digital Marketing team, we are like a start-up within a 90+ year old company that continues to expand service offerings globally. We’re looking for a visual UX/UI designer who will join our agile team to improve our customers’ digital experience across Gallagher brands. Your talent and experience, from low-fidelity to high-fidelity prototypes to PPT presentations will help evolve our brands to the next level to drive leads and engagement. You’ll work alongside our digital experience team that includes UX Research, UX/UI Design, Content and SEO as well as full-stack developers, scrum master, ART team and stakeholders to continually enhance and improve the customer’s digital experience. **About You** - You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for design. - You have 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design. - You have experience designing data visualizations within charts and graphs and bringing these elements to life within interactive experiences. - You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and Ceros. - You have experience designing for a multi-lingual audience and for accessibility. - You are a team player who is able to work independently and collaboratively. - You are flexible and adaptable, and you are able to work in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities**: - Collaborate with content strategy, digital marketing, ART, brand and marketing stakeholders on content experience projects and other design projects. - Learn Ceros to create experience embedded within Sitecore for each brand. - Conceptualize experiences, from low to high fidelity prototypes within Brand and design guidelines for accessibility. - Build and test the content experience within Ceros for desktop, tablet and mobile and scale experiences - Manage the style libraries within Ceros for each brand leveraging updated styles by the Design team - Create interactive experiences on brand that are embedded in Sitecore and Marketing Cloud using Ceros. - Research and test how to leverage Ceros to deliver more engaging experiences using 2D images, video, embedded forms and more to showcase to stakeholders to demonstrate what is possible - Support extended team on polishing PPTs for stakeholder presentations. - Learn and understand Gallagher brands, mission and goals to create experiences to drive engagement across divisions. - Document best practices for content experiences. - An understanding of agile development and Bootstrap framework. - Manage projects and meet deadlines. - Work independently and as part of a team. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends and technologies. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in design, computer science, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design. - Experience designing data visualizations within charts and graphs and bringing these elements to life within interactive experiences. - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, and Ceros. - Experience designing for a multi-lingual audience and for accessibility. - Strong work ethic and a passion for design. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Flexibility and adaptability. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
