**Job Description: Steward at a Restaurant**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms.
- **Dishwashing**: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- **Kitchen Support**: Assist kitchen staff in food preparation tasks, such as peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as stoves, ovens, grills, and refrigerators.
- **Waste Management**: Dispose of kitchen garbage and manage recycling activities.
- **Stock Management**: Receive and store supplies, including food and beverage items, in designated areas.
- **Assisting Staff**: Support servers and kitchen staff during peak hours by delivering food, refilling drinks, or running errands.
- **Adhering to Safety Standards**: Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- **Customer Service**: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- **Attention to Detail**: Keen eye for detail to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- **Time Management**: Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
- **Basic Math Skills**: Proficiency in basic math for tasks such as measuring ingredients or calculating portion sizes.
- **Previous Experience**: While not always required, prior experience in a similar role or hospitality industry can be beneficial.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
