- **Supporting Service Staff**:Stewards assist servers and other team members with tasks like setting tables, stocking supplies, and clearing tables.
- **Inventory Management**:They monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, disposables, and other essential items.
- **Customer Service**:While not always the primary focus, stewards often interact with guests, answer questions, and provide assistance.
- **Following Safety and Health Regulations**:Stewards adhere to established safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
- **Event Management Support**:In some settings, stewards help manage crowds, ensure safety, and assist with event logistics.
- **Union Representation**:In unionized workplaces, stewards represent employees, handle grievances, and ensure fair working conditions.
