Chief Technology Officer

**Job Description: Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at EduFund**

**Responsibilities**:
1. Technical Leadership:

- Provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of EduFund's technology roadmap.
- Direct the technical architecture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the research and evaluation of new technologies to drive innovation and enhance the platform's capabilities.

2. Team Management:

- Build and nurture a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the technology team, and provide mentorship and guidance to support their professional growth.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for the technology team members.

3. Product Development:

- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet user needs.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing methodologies.

4. Infrastructure and Operations:

- Design and maintain robust, scalable infrastructure to support EduFund's platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Implement and oversee DevOps practices to automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Manage relationships with cloud service providers, optimizing costs and leveraging cloud-native technologies.

5. Data Management and Analytics:

- Define data architecture and governance frameworks to support effective data management and analysis.
- Drive the implementation of data-driven decision-making processes, leveraging analytics and machine learning techniques.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards, safeguarding user data and maintaining trust.

**Specific Criteria Required**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record of leadership in technology roles, preferably within the fintech or edtech sector.
- Extensive experience in software development, with expertise in modern technologies and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing technology teams, with a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Experience in developing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.
- Deep knowledge of data management and analytics, with experience in leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Our product allows families to invest in education, take education loans, and receive competitive scholarships We were founded in 2020 by Eela Dubey (NYU 13’) and Arindam Sengupta (Princeton 12’).

Pay: From ₹4,500,000.00 per year
