**Roles & Responsibilities**

This role supports the Reginal team in the accounting function related to daily reconciliation, analysis and follow up for closure of open items. It requires understanding the relevant accounting principles and effectively communicates findings to peers and business partners. Oversee accounts payable processes, which requires an advanced level of understanding of the procurement flow processes and their relation to accounts payable.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience in Invoicing, Reconciliation - Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable for the retail business
- Clear understanding of Purchase Systems, Accounting and Inventory Management Systems
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel & Tableau
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products including expert level knowledge of Excel used for reporting (Should be proficient with Excel Functions and Formulas such as Charts, Pivot Table, Lookups, Conditional formatting, count IF, Sum IF)
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience in Process mapping and Process Improvement
- Experience in using information, data and metrics to draw business insights, create business recommendations and influence stakeholders
- Strong ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations along with the Business Dashboards
- Ensure completion and accuracy of vendor statement reconciliations including proper and timely resolution of open items
- Ability to maintain composure in critical situations and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Very good in interpersonal relations, excellent coordination skills and clear communication
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet timelines.

***Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
- Professional experience ideally in the areas of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while dealing with high levels of ambiguity
- Demonstrated great written and verbal communication skills
- Industries preferred - Retail/Ecommerce
