**Assistant Manager Responsibilities and Duties**
- Prepare weekly schedules and work assignments for Fitness Trainers.
- Schedule the customer classes.
- Ensure that the customers are given high-quality services and assistance when needed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining workout programs.
- Stay abreast of the latest updates in the fitness industry.
- Ensure fitness centre facilities are maintained clean, safe and orderly.
- Ensure that fitness centre equipment is kept in good working condition.
- Monitor the initial workouts of new customers and provide feedback.
- Monitor and control expenses within the allotted budget.
- Offer various fitness programs to suit customers specific needs.
- Work with other staff to achieve a monthly target.
- Ensure that all staff follow the centre’s procedures and policies.
- Enhance revenue by providing additional discounts and services to existing and new customers.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the fitness centre and personal training sessions.
- Resolve issues and complaints pertaining to personal training from customers.
- Implement customer suggestions and recommendations to optimize training programs.
- Schedule and conduct fitness centre tours to new customers and book trials class.
- Maintain all paperwork regarding personal training schedules and procedures.

**Education**

has to have a bachelor’s degree in sports science, business administration or management.

**Preferred**: A background in service industry - Hotels, Fitness center, sports management and/or business management experience are preferred.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**: Requires a highly motivated team-player with the ability to deliver a high level of interactive customer service, develop and maintain collaborative relationships, communicate effectively, as well as proactively solve problems. The ability to work flexible hours is required.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
