**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and respond to storage alerts to ensure optimal system health and uptime.
- Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise **SAN storage systems** (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, or similar).
- Provide **L3 support** for complex storage-related incidents and escalations.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring storage issues and implement preventive measures.
- Manage storage provisioning, allocation, and performance tuning.
- Coordinate firmware, patch, and upgrade activities with mínimal business impact.
- Maintain storage documentation, configuration records, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with backup, network, and server teams to ensure end-to-end data availability and protection.
- Ensure compliance with data security policies and industry best practices.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience in **SAN storage administration** (5+ years preferred).
- Hands-on experience with storage arrays, zoning, LUN provisioning, and performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of **alert monitoring tools** and proactive incident management.
- Expertise in **L3 troubleshooting** for storage-related issues.
- Knowledge of storage protocols (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB).
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with automation/scripting for storage management (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- ITIL process knowledge for incident, problem, and change management.

**Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional, NetApp NCDA, HPE ASE, SNIA Certified Storage Engineer) are a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
