**Role Overview**

We are seeking an experienced **Backup Administrator** with strong skills in **Commvault, Veeam, SimpliVity**, and **Azure cloud backups**. The role involves managing and monitoring backup jobs, performing deep analysis of failures, and ensuring backup and recovery processes meet business continuity requirements across both on-premises and cloud environments.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Administer, configure, and maintain **Commvault**, **Veeam**, and **HPE SimpliVity** backup environments.
- Monitor daily backup jobs (on-premises and Azure cloud) to ensure successful completion.
- Manage and optimize backup schedules, policies, and retention settings.
- Ensure seamless integration and operation of **Azure cloud backups** with existing infrastructure.
- Conduct test restores to validate backup integrity and recovery readiness.
- Maintain documentation for backup configurations, processes, and recovery procedures.
- Stay current with backup technology trends, updates, and security best practices.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven hands-on experience with **Commvault administration** in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of **Veeam Backup & Replication** and **HPE SimpliVity** backup management.
- Working experience with **Azure cloud backup and recovery** solutions.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving backup job failures across on-premises and cloud systems.
- Understanding of storage systems, virtualization platforms, and network concepts.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and produce detailed incident reports.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience with backup automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution.
- ITIL process knowledge for incident, problem, and change management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹2,100,000.00 per year
