**Job Title**: Kubernetes Administrator
**Experience**: 10+ years
**Location**: Remote
**Salary**: ₹1,40,000 per month
**Working Hours**: Indian Standard Time (IST)

**Job Overview**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Manage, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Design and implement scalable and high-availability K8s infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments for issues related to performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement and manage container orchestration and automation strategies.
- Optimize Kubernetes clusters and associated services to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Work with development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of microservices architecture into Kubernetes.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in a Kubernetes environment.
- Manage upgrades, patches, and continuous maintenance of Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions for K8s environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Kubernetes operations with business requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- **10+ years of overall IT experience** with a strong focus on infrastructure and DevOps.
- **Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s)** with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience managing production-grade clusters.
- Proven experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting large-scale Kubernetes environments.
- Solid knowledge of containerization technologies such as **Docker**.
- Experience with **Kubernetes networking, storage, and security** components.
- Proficiency with **Kubernetes tools and platforms** (e.g., Helm, Kustomize, Kubeadm).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like **AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure**, especially for managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Expertise in **CI/CD pipeline integration** with Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of **monitoring and logging tools** (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Strong understanding of **Linux system administration** and shell scripting.
- Solid knowledge of **security best practices** in Kubernetes environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with a focus on optimizing performance and resolving production issues.

Good to Have:

- Experience with **Istio**, **Linkerd**, or other service mesh solutions.
- Experience with **Terraform** or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid Kubernetes deployments.
