**1. Responsibilities**

(1) Organize, coordinate, and participate in utility operation, maintenance, and plant equipment maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.

(2) Coordinate or implement modification of equipment to reduce equipment downtime, ensuring smooth production

(3) To monitor the operating status of critical equipment. Collect related data, find the root cause of the breakdown, and take effective measures.

(4) Assist in improving the spare part system and ensure smooth maintenance.

(5) Set up standard maintenance procedure monitor implementation based on current issues encountered

(6) Organize preparation of preventive/Predictive maintenance schedule. Monitor the implementation of the same.

(7) Conduct performance evaluation of subordinates and technicians

(8) Provide technical training to workmen and trainees

(9) Develop safe working procedures for the shop and execute

(10) Communicate actively with other departments to improve continuously

**2. Reporting Relationship**

(1) Reports to: HOD- Maintenance & Utility

(2) Receives reports from Maintenance Engineers

**3. Internal Relationship**

(1) All departments

**4. External Relationship**

(1) Maintenance vendors, AMC, and Material handling equipment.

**5. Requirements**
- Sound knowledge (Would prefer if have electro-mechanical knowledge) of air compressor, boiler, WWTP (Chrome ETP), ZLD, STP, DG set, dust collection system, and other utilities.
- Good Experience in Foundry/ Machine Shop/ Plating/ Faucet and Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatics, Mechanical drawing, Mechanical structure, Basic Electrical knowledge, PLC, and CNC machines troubleshooting of machines, KAIZENS, will have added advantages.
- Sound knowledge of compliance and the legal of the plant & utilities.
- Knowledge of JHA, HSA, FMEA, ISO, OHSAS, EMS, and other management control tools, well versed with PPT, Excel, and MS Word.
- Should be familiar with the preparation of maintenance budget and project evaluation, effectively manage and control department cost to meet organization financial needs, Spare planning & optimization.
- Inhouse shifting & re-lay outing of equipment as per need, Stakeholder management.
