Must have AWS Solution Architect Certification Good knowledge on the AWS technologies and associated components and variations VPC, VPC Peering, Direct Connect, subnet, Route 53, Availability Zones EC2, AMI, Snapshot, Auto scaling, EBS, S3, Multi region replication, Storage Gateway, Snowball Load balancers, Nat Gateway, Internet Gateway Security components, Key pair, security groups, ACL; IAM, Directory Service, Certificate manager RDS, DMS, EMR, REDSHIFT, Dynamo DB Cloud Watch, Ops works, Cloud Trail Json scripting, Cloud formation, any other scripting language for automation Amazon Market place All other Amazon cloud service offerings Ability to develop a robust design to meet customer business requirement with scalability, availability, performance and cost effectiveness using Amazon offerings Ability to identify and gather requirements to define an architectural solution which can be successfully built and operate on AWS, Ability to conclude high level and low level design for the AWS platform which may also include data center design as necessary Capabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices throughout the lifecycle of a project Understanding the significance of the different metrics under the monitoring, their threshold values and should be able to take necessary corrective measures based on the thresholds Knowledge on automation to reduce the number of incidents or the repetitive incidents are preferred Must have good knowledge on the networking, subnet, subnet masking, route tables, routing, access control list, NAT and port address translation Must have knowledge on the traditional IT infrastructure includes Server Hardware, Virtualization platforms, Clustering Storage Networking basic data base implementation knowledge Good knowledge on the data center operation, monitoring tools, backup solution Good understanding of the data center deployment design, how the components works together, understanding of the component level dependencies within and outside data center Experience expected: 3+ year of experience in AWS based design (HLD and LLD) of the different components to meet the customer and business expectation in a cost effective manner One or more years’ experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS 5 or more years equivalent experience in the data center operation in any of the following areas OS administration ( either Windows or Linux/ Unix) Storage + backup management ( Enterprise level storages) Administration of the virtualization platform ( any one VMWare, Hyper-V, KVM) Network administration with good knowledge on at least one Operating system Good experience in designing DR and HA solutions and hands on experience for deploying those Experience on enterprise level IT infrastructure monitoring Cloud migration experience using industry leading tools Roles and Responsibilities: Ability to understand the design from the shared design document, and plan for the implementation / configuration Implement and Configure end to end all aspects of AWS as per design Configuration of Disaster Recovery design within and outside AWS cloud Demonstrating "User Acceptance Tests" for all the Amazon AWS Components at Infrastructure layer including Compute, Storage, Backup, DR, Network, Security and Load Balancing. Scripting for automating the repeatable tasks (Provisioning, Monitoring, Backup, DR-Sync and image Creation). Implementation and Monitoring of Security Aspects of AWS (Key Pairs, Virtual LAN, Security Access) Migration of Data Center to AWS Troubleshooting the AWS related issues within stipulated time frame Design Low Level Detailed Migration Plans for Workloads from Physical or Virtual Servers to AWS Migration of Physical and Virtual OS (Hyper-V, VMware and Azure) to AWS using various Tools as P-to-V and V-to-V. Demonstrating "User Acceptance Tests" for all the Amazon AWS Components at Infrastructure layer including Compute, Storage, Backup, DR, Network, Security and Load Balancing Performing POC for different tools used in assessment, migration, testing Researching on new tool sets as needed to meet the customer and organizational requirement to deliver on time and within planned cost Ability to learn and adopt new technologies Ability to perform eh tasks stated above independently Certification: Aws Certified Solution Architect ?
