Roles and responsibilities - **Application Support**

x Installation, configuration and patching activities.

x Monitor operating system utilization patterns and preparing reports.

x Ensuring consistency across staging/production and Disaster recovery systems as defined in SLA for each setup.

x Monitoring servers for hardware errors like hard disk, RAM, CPU failures/warnings

and notifying appropriate service providers and working on the same till closure.

x Monitoring LUN utilization and assist in capacity planning, storage systems and clusters.

x Manage logs, backups and tape inventory.

x Escalating hardware and system-level problems to AMC Vendors.

x Working on the requests of development and support team on staging and UAT setup

x Hardening of servers as per bank policy

x User administration of all servers

x Performance improvement and automation of jobs

Desired Skills (ADMIN):
x Must have experience on multiple environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments

x Minimum experience of 1 years for Engineering or Technical Degrees (BE/ B.Tech/

ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA) with relevant industry experience.

x Minimum experience of 5 years for BSc IT / MBA IT qualified with relevant industry

experience.

x Essential: Engineering or Technical Degrees (BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ M.Sc/ MCA/

BScIT / MBA IT).

x Extend all the support as required by Banks team.

x Good understanding of Linux/REHL,Windows Servers ,MAC Servers, Solaris ,AIX

,any other new OS as acquired by Bank.

x Must have good understanding on Application Server (WeblogicJBoss,Apache Tomcat,

WebSphere or any other Application Server as acquired by bank etc.)

x Must have knowledge and working experience of Load Balancer (hardware/Software)

x Must have good understating and working experience of Webserver and its configuration

x Must be able to install SSL certificate as required by the Bank’s Team

x Must be able to extend all the necessary support in upgrading/installing the software/OS

on aly server or device

x Must be able to generate reports and schedule report as per the banks requirement.

x Must have knowledge of Infrastructure, UPI and NPCI Products as used by bank.

x Must be able to share logs of Application /OS /Server as requested by Bank

x Must be able to provide necessary support to close Security Vulnerabilities reported by

Information Security Team (VAPT report).

x Must extend support to get the server/Application integrated with the Banks Software

x Extend necessary support for different audit activities

x Able to co-ordinate different teams for deployment/fixing any issues raised in UAT/Development/Production environment.
