**Position Summary**

The **Advanced Translation Tools Instructor [Level 1]** will develop and deliver a comprehensive course on advanced translation tools, such as **SDL Trados**, **memoQ**, **Wordfast**, and other computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools. The course will be published on **YouTube**, and compensation will be based on a **one-time revenue share** generated during the first year. The role requires a daily time commitment of **2 hours** for course creation and learner engagement.

**Responsibilities**
- **Course Development**: Design and create a structured curriculum that covers advanced translation tools and techniques.
- **Tool Tutorials**: Deliver in-depth tutorials on using CAT tools, machine translation systems, and localization software.
- **Content Creation**: Record and produce high-quality, engaging video lectures that explain complex translation workflows clearly.
- **Real-World Applications**: Incorporate case studies and practical examples to demonstrate the effective use of translation tools in various industries.
- **Industry Trends**: Highlight emerging trends and advancements in translation and localization technologies.
- **Learner Support**: Respond to student questions, provide feedback, and foster a supportive learning environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Mastering Up team to optimize course content and improve its reach.

**Required Qualifications**
- **Proficiency in Translation Tools**: Expertise in tools like **SDL Trados**, **memoQ**, **Wordfast**, **Deepl Pro**, or similar platforms.
- **Translation Experience**: Hands-on experience in translation, localization, or multilingual content creation.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners.
- **Teaching Experience**: Prior experience in training or mentoring individuals in translation tools or linguistics.
- **Commitment**: Availability to dedicate **2 hours daily** to course development and learner interaction.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- **Certifications**: Certifications in translation, localization, or proficiency in specific tools like SDL Trados or memoQ.
- **Educational Background**: Degree in **Linguistics**, **Translation Studies**, or related fields.
- **Multilingual Proficiency**: Ability to work with multiple languages and demonstrate multilingual translation tools.
