**Job Description for Database Developer with SQL, MongoDB, Caching, and Kafka Experience**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Database Design and Development**:

- Design, implement, and maintain database schemas that support business requirements.
- Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
- **MongoDB Administration**:

- Manage and administer MongoDB databases, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data integrity and security in MongoDB environments.
- **Caching Implementation**:

- Implement and manage caching mechanisms to enhance system performance.
- Utilize caching strategies to reduce database load and response times.
- **Kafka Integration**:

- Integrate Kafka into the existing architecture for real-time data processing.
- Work on Kafka topics, producers, and consumers to support efficient data streaming.
- **Performance Optimization**:

- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in database systems.
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database queries and improve overall system performance.
- **Data Security**:

- Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data stored in databases.
- Monitor and respond to security vulnerabilities and incidents.
- **Documentation**:

- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system administrators, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2.5 to 3 years) in database development with expertise in SQL, MongoDB, caching, and Kafka.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Technical Skills**:

- SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- MongoDB
- Caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached)
- Apache Kafka

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
