Merchandiser Job Description:

- Collaborate with the marketing team and source new SKUs /Brands with higher demand that helps to drive higher revenue and profit.
- Provide updates to all the internal teams for new launches/updates.
- Establish a strong relationship with Vendors/Manufacturers to bring in new SKUs / Brands. Initiate and facilitate the negotiation process, deals, exclusive promotions, and sales thru credits and discounts with the vendors.
- Understand the customer needs and requirements - provide sourcing options to expand our business.
- Raise advance requests for vendors, get appropriate approvals for the same, and coordinate with the accounts team for a hassle-free payment process.
- Market survey of the latest products/vendors available in the market as a substitute for the existing product/vendors with increased features/cost-effectiveness and rating the vendors accordingly.
- Work on lowering the brand settlement - work with vendors to reduce the defect rate in order to lower the return rate for a better customer experience.
- Analyse the KPI that helps to improve Store Performance, Revenue, Profit, PPP & AOV.
- Take control of inventory and manage the weekly/monthly/quarterly sales. Make sure we have plenty of stock for all the good moving SKUs. Creation of competitive and unique bundle catalogs that improve AOV. Work on backorders and asset management.
- Based on WOW and YOY sales organize promotions for events, product launches, special offers, etc.
- Make a cost-efficient process in order to lower operational expenses which ultimately helps improve profits.
- Work on the Recurring, blowout, and Liquidation SKUs to drive the business smoothly.
- Plan Season wise buying to augment sales during the peak periods and control stock levels based on forecasts for the season.
- Analyse purchase requisition for proper specs. And ensure the timely creation of Purchase orders.
- Work with the Design and Content team to improve page layout/category quality and A+ content details.
- Work with the Marketplace team and develop affiliate marketing strategies that deliver specified sales volumes.
- Coordinate with CS, Sales and order Processing team and understand their need and customer requirement.
- Annual business plan and budgeting.

**Job Type**: Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹800,847.26 - ₹1,500,455.92 per month
