**Job Title**: Executive - Plant Technology (PI)
**Location**: Chennai Plant
**Reports to (Position)**: Manager
**Department/Function**:Plant Technology

**Purpose of the Job**: Responsible for taking trial in building to establish existing product with improved features and performance. Taking trial in building to establish new Products
Monitoring the performance of Pilot run SKUs and release QR4
Support to heat engineer for completing experiments in curing & final finish.

**Major Responsibilities**:
End to end follow up of prototype tyres, ensuring component availability.
Monitoring performance and initiation of corrective actions of pilot SKUs
Support to Tyre Engineers in completion of new product process proving
Completion of VAVE projects
Initiate yield improvement projects
Process proving of new Product.
Conduct improvement studies and trials.
Shop floor coordination and preparation of reports of product/process/ material trials

**Skills**:
Knowledge of Tyre-building Process (desirable)
Troubleshooting of process difficulties.
Knowledge of Tire components and its functions (desirable)

**Relevant Experience**:
6 months to 2 years in any manufacturing industry

**Education Qualification(s)**: B.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Rubber Technology
