Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
This is an AVP role within Broking Operations team of Wealth Operations to provide operational support to Private Bank India.

What will you be doing?
- Managing Broking operations team which carries out Trade contracting and Trade settlement functions.
- Monitor Operational Risk Management for Position limit and Margin utilization
- Monitor adequate margin available at Exchange for TM and CM
- Coordinating with Front office, Client’s Custodian, Exchanges, Overseas desk
- Handle Trade Settlement & Accounting, MIS Reporting, Exchange reporting, Security Settlement
- Having knowledge of UCC, OTR, Payout, Payin, Margins, etc.
- Replying to Regulator’s related queries
- Overseeing the check and challenge of the governance including financial crime risk and control frameworks laid out by local and Group Compliance Service teams
- Support accurate and timely submission of applicable regulators reports
- Work collaboratively within the definition of this role to support Business
- Support product/Business management team in setting up any new operational processes for new products.
- Recommend, Develop and Implement scalable solutions to drive process efficiencies & automation
- Proactive identification of gaps in adherence of the Group procedures and local regulatory process requirements and escalating it to the appropriate Senior Management forums or key stakeholders.
- Raising ORAC for risk events and issue details identified within the Broking operation team and tracking them for closure
- Drive Mind-set and People agenda (Skill matrix, cross training, citizenship, Colleague engagement forum)

What we’re looking for:

- Graduate /postgraduate in any discipline with relevant experience in the area of Broking operation.
- Mininum 10 years of broking experience.
- Good Communication Skill
- Ability to handle pressure and volumes.
- Ability to exercise high levels of discipline and concentration
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Previous experience of supporting / leading on boarding teams in MNC banks
- Knowledge and understanding of operational risks, their origins and effects and the relevant, practical controls required to mitigate them.
- High standards of quality and rigour are applied
