**Position Overview**: The COO will be a key member of the senior management team, responsible for overseeing diverse business operations. This role requires an experienced leader with exceptional business acumen and the ability to manage and optimize coding, billing, and collections processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operational Management**:

- **Oversee RCM Operations**: Manage day-to-day operations of the RCM division, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- **Monitor KPIs**: Assess the effectiveness of RCM processes through key performance indicators.
- **Ensure Accuracy**: Oversee timely and accurate billing, coding, collections, and reimbursements.

**Process Improvement**:

- **Identify Improvements**: Determine areas for process enhancement and implement best practices.
- **Utilize Technology**: Enhance operational efficiency through technology and automation.
- **Improve Patient Experience**: Lead initiatives to enhance the patient billing experience.

**Financial Oversight**:

- **Manage Budget**: Develop and oversee the RCM budget to meet financial goals.
- **Analyze Data**: Review financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
- **Ensure Reporting Accuracy**: Collaborate with the finance team for accurate financial reporting and forecasting.

**Compliance and Risk Management**:

- **Ensure Compliance**: Adhere to all relevant regulations, including HIPAA.
- **Mitigate Risk**: Implement policies to ensure data security and compliance.
- **Stay Informed**: Keep updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

**Team Development**:

- **Recruit and Mentor**: Recruit, train, and support RCM staff, fostering a high-performing team.
- **Conduct Evaluations**: Provide feedback and support professional growth.
- **Promote Collaboration**: Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
