Lead Finance OperationsThis is a senior finance position responsible for leading financial operations with accuracy and strategic oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Data Supervision: Ensure accounting entries are accurate, closing, reconciliations, and ledger accuracy meet the required standards.Tax Compliance: Oversee GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Professional Tax, and statutory filings to ensure timely completion and accuracy.Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure all necessary documentation is available.Statutory Registers: Maintain statutory registers and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Project Performance Monitoring: Monitor project-wise revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flows to make informed decisions.Client Invoicing: Review and finalize client invoices (milestones, variation orders, revisions) to ensure timely payments.Payment Tracking: Track outstanding payments, collections, and update leadership regularly on financial performance.Vendor Management: Review vendor and consultant invoices processed by the Junior Accountant and ensure orderly reconciliation.Payroll Verification: Review payroll inputs processed by the HR Manager and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.Employee Reimbursement: Oversee reimbursements, travel claims, and employee advances to ensure compliance with company policies.Gratuity Trust: Ensure regulatory compliance of the Gratuity Trust and employee payouts.Financial Planning: Prepare and review monthly MIS: revenue, expenses, cash flow, project P&L to inform strategic decisions.Leadership Support: Assist leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive business growth.Financial Insights: Provide insights and financial advice to support strategic decisions and improve financial performance.Process Improvement: Strengthen internal control systems, accounting SOPs, and audit trails to enhance financial efficiency.Mentorship: Mentor the Junior Accountant and ensure systematic accounting practices.Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement improvements for speed and accuracy.
