Sales Tender Executive

Job Title: Sales Tender Executive

Role Overview:
The Sales Tender Executive will play a critical role in managing the entire bidding process, including identifying opportunities, preparing and submitting tenders, and ensuring compliance with all requirements. This role requires specific expertise in handling government and public sector tenders, including proficiency in using the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.

Experience Required: 3 to 8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, analyze, and evaluate tender opportunities in the aerospace, automotive, and mechanical manufacturing sectors.
- Prepare and submit accurate and compliant tender documents, including technical and financial bids, in a timely manner.
- Manage and execute the bidding process on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, ensuring all submissions are in line with the requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential tender opportunities and assess competitor bids.
- Ensure that all tender documents comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, finance, and legal, to gather necessary information and ensure a successful bid submission.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and government agencies to understand tender requirements and address any queries.
- Monitor the status of submitted tenders, negotiate contracts, and follow up on awards.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all tender submissions, including documentation, correspondence, and outcomes.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on tender activities, success rates, and market trends.
- Identify areas for improvement in the tendering process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and success rates.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in managing the entire tendering process, including technical and financial bid preparation.
- In-depth knowledge and experience using the Gem portal for bidding and tender submissions.
- Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes, particularly in aerospace and automotive industries.
- Ability to analyse tender documents, identify key requirements, and develop competitive bids.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing clear and persuasive tender documents.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all tender documents are accurate and compliant.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for bids.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BTech) or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Negotiation: 5 years (required)
- Auction: 5 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
