**Job Summary**:
**Position Title**: Counsellor TMS (The Millennium School)

The School Counsellor is an integral member of the school community, responsible for promoting students’ academic, personal, and social development. The counsellor will provide support through individual and group counselling, classroom guidance, and crisis intervention. He/she will collaborate with teachers, parents, and community resources to create a nurturing environment that fosters student growth and success. The counsellor will be required to plan, view report, and discuss one on one with the parent and the student the result of the psychometric assessment for students in Gr VIII-XII. The sessions with students and parents will be conducted online.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the delivery of behavioural and career counselling services across school branches, ensuring alignment with institutional goals.
- Administer and analyse psychometric assessments for students in Grades VIII-XII, providing tailored guidance to students and parents during one-on-one sessions.
- Design and implement social and emotional learning programs, focusing on emotional intelligence, stress management, and mindfulness.
- Guide students in career exploration using Intelligence tests.
- Support students with portfolio building, higher education planning, and identifying pathways aligned with their strengths and interests.
- Stay updated on industry and education trends to provide relevant, informed guidance.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and branch counsellors to address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Coordinate initiatives that foster leadership, civic responsibility, and personal growth among students.
- Represent the institution at exhibitions, seminars, and education fairs, building networks and showcasing the school’s counselling programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling activities and psychometric assessments.
- Prepare and present reports on counselling outcomes and student development progress to management.
- Ensure all counselling practices comply with ethical standards and school policies.
- Collaborate with universities to facilitate student admissions, scholarships, and exposure to academic and career opportunities, building strong networks for seamless transitions to higher education.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and secure records of all counselling activities, including psychometric assessments, student progress, and follow-ups, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and institutional policies. Ensure these records are accessible for reporting, decision-making, and continuous improvement of counselling programs

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Master’s degree in Psychology (MA) is required.
- Certification in Career Counselling (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in counselling with a strong focus on behavioural and career guidance.
- Experience in managing counselling programs across multiple locations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Expertise in psychometric tools and career assessment frameworks.
- Ability to handle diverse responsibilities, from counselling to stakeholder engagement.
- Flexibility to travel to branches or attend events as needed.
- Proven ability to build relationships and foster collaboration among teams and stakeholders.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
