We are looking for a Trainee System Accountant to join the Group Finance System team reporting to the Finance System Operations Manager.

A Trainee Systems Accountant job involves managing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform and working on accounting system upgrades and testing while working closely with IT and Finance teams under guidance of senior accountants, ensuring its smooth operation and addressing issues, while also supporting end-users.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring: Monitor system performance, identify potential problems, and proactively address them in collaboration with IT and Finance Teams.
- Access Control: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Support: Provide support to end-users, addressing their questions and resolving issues.
- Training: Provide training to users on how to use the ServiceNow platform.
- Process Design: Implement, and maintain ServiceNow workflows and processes in collaboration with IT and Finance Team
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into platform performance and usage.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with IT professionals, including developers, Finance Teams, and business analysts.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

**Technical Skills**:

- Tertiary qualification in accounting. [Graduate/Postgraduate]
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

**Desirable**
- Understanding of ServiceNow platform and its functionalities.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) processes.
- ServiceNow System Administrator certification
