**JOB DESCRIPTION - ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR**

1. Position Title:
Assistant Quantity Surveyor

2. Location:
Head Office

3. Reporting To:
Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer / Project Manager

4. salary

20k - 25k

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQ, quantity calculations, and measurements from drawings and site.
- Maintain daily site measurement records and verify quantities with site team and contractors.
- Support in preparing running account (RA) bills for subcontractors and client billing support.
- Assist in rate analysis for new items as per specifications and site execution.
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to verify work progress and executed quantities.
- Maintain proper documentation including measurement books, material reconciliation, and checklists.
- Support in cost tracking, budgeting, and reconciliation with planning and accounts departments.
- Assist in preparing and submitting weekly and monthly quantity and billing reports.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 1-2 years (preferably in road/bridge construction projects).
- Software Knowledge: MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), PDF editing, measurement tools.
- Language: Proficient in Hindi and English.
- Traits: Detail-oriented, numeric accuracy, site coordination ability, and time management
