Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join us at AdhyyanBooks.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the process of publishing books on platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart, resolving author queries, and ensuring seamless communication between various departments.

You will play a critical role in maintaining smooth operations and enhancing the overall efficiency of the publishing process.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Publishing and Marketplace Management: o Handle the end-to-end process of publishing books on platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other online marketplaces.
- Ensure books are uploaded with accurate metadata, pricing, and descriptions.
- Monitor and update listings as needed for improved visibility and sales.

2. Author Relations: o Act as the first point of contact for authors, addressing their queries promptly and professionally. o Guide authors through the publishing process, ensuring they understand timelines, deliverables, and requirements. o Provide updates to authors regarding the status of their projects.

3. Coordination Across Departments: o Liaise between editorial, design, marketing, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects. o Track and communicate project timelines, identifying and addressing any potential bottlenecks. o Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure promotional plans align with publishing schedules.

4. Data Management and Reporting: o Maintain accurate records of published titles, author contracts, and other critical documentation. o Track sales and royalty reports, ensuring data accuracy for timely payouts to authors. o Generate regular operational reports and provide insights to management.

5. Process Improvement: o Identify opportunities to streamline workflows for publishing and data management. o Propose and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors in operations.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience of min 1 year in publishing, e-commerce, or operations management preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Google Sheets, and content management systems.
- Knowledge of online publishing platforms like Amazon KDP and Flipkart Seller Hub is a plus.
