The Production Coordinator - Metal Fabrication is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production process of metal fabrication projects. This role involves planning, scheduling, and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of production activities to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Production Planning**:

- Develop and implement production schedules and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- **Production Scheduling**:

- Create and manage production schedules, taking into account machine capacity, labor availability, and material requirements.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion of projects.
- **Quality Control**:

- Establish and maintain quality control standards for metal fabrication processes.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- **Material Management**:

- Coordinate the procurement and inventory management of raw materials and components used in metal fabrication.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to support production requirements.
- **Team Coordination**:

- Supervise and motivate production team members.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise within the team.
- **Customer Communication**:

- Maintain regular communication with customers to provide updates on project progress.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures in the metal fabrication environment.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in production coordination or a similar role in the metal fabrication industry.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, forming, welding, and assembly.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Desired Skills**
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹114,594.07 - ₹502,960.17 per year
