**Position Overview**:
A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately inputting and managing data into computer systems and databases. The role requires precision, speed, and attention to detail to ensure data integrity and organizational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry and Maintenance**:

- Enter data into systems or databases from source documents within set time limits.
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Update and maintain data records as required.
- **Document Handling**:

- Organize and maintain files and records systematically.
- Ensure proper handling of confidential and sensitive information.
- **Data Verification**:

- Cross-check and validate data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control measures.
- **Reporting**:

- Generate periodic reports based on entered data.
- Provide data summaries and visualizations as required by supervisors.
- **Communication**:

- Collaborate with team members and other departments to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
- Respond to data-related inquiries promptly.
- **System Maintenance**:

- Monitor and troubleshoot minor issues in data management systems.
- Suggest process improvements for efficient data handling.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in data entry or computer operations is a plus.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Familiarity with data entry software or ERP systems.
- Basic understanding of database management.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent typing speed and accuracy (e.g., 40-50 words per minute).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- **Experience**:

- 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role.
- **Additional Skills**:

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks and office equipment is an advantage.

**Work Environment**:

- Office-based with a desk job requiring extensive computer use.
- May involve repetitive tasks and handling high volumes of data.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
