Job Description: Injection Moulding Machine In-Charge

Department: Production / Manufacturing

Location: Sachin GIDC

Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Experience: 3-8 years in injection moulding operations

Key Responsibilities:

- Machine Operation & Supervision:

- Supervise daily operation of injection moulding machines (semi/fully automatic).
- Ensure machines run efficiently with mínimal downtime.
- Monitor key process parameters (temperature, pressure, injection time, cycle time).
- Tool and Mold Handling:

- Install and set up moulds and tools correctly.
- Monitor wear and tear; coordinate for preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate mould changes as per production plan.
- Quality Control:

- Conduct regular quality checks on produced components.
- Ensure adherence to specifications, finish, and dimensional accuracy.
- Immediately address defects (short shots, burn marks, flashing, etc.).
- Team Management:

- Lead and supervise machine operators and helpers.
- Provide technical training to new operators.
- Ensure compliance with work discipline and safety protocols.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

- Identify mechanical or process issues and coordinate quick resolution.
- Liaise with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain daily production logs, downtime records, and rejection reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/quality systems (if applicable).

Key Skills & Knowledge:

- Deep knowledge of injection moulding machines (Arburg, Haitian, Toshiba, etc.)
- Understanding of different polymers (PP, ABS, Nylon, etc.)
- Ability to read technical drawings/specs
- Problem-solving in moulding defects
- Familiarity with 5S, TPM, or Lean Manufacturing (optional but preferred)

Qualifications:

- ITI/Diploma in Plastics, Mechanical, or equivalent
- Prior hands-on experience with injection moulding machines is a must
- Knowledge of safety and factory rules

Additional Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely availability of raw materials for uninterrupted production.
- Optimize moulding processes for cycle time reduction and material efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate records of production, downtime, and material consumption.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
