**Kafka Architect**:
**Work Location** : Bangalore

**Experience**: 10 to 15Years

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Provide consultative recommendations to clients to solve their Big Data challenges
- Work as an individual contributor and or team player based on the projects
- Confluent Kafka Platform consulting, Platform architecture and implementation
- Confluent Kafka Solution Architecture and implementation
- Help Pre-sales teams on Proposals, POCs and technical evaluations
- Design, perform POC where needed and develop enterprise’s Apache Kafka Distributed Messaging and Integration Ecosystem
- Solid experience and knowledge in the deployment of Kafka(Apache/Confluent
- Physical Deployment across multiple environments
- Optimization and Tuning based on performance metrics
- Setup best practices, Standards, Patterns Development and automate process for onboarding
- Develop playbooks for troubleshooting and support team
- Design monitoring solutions and baseline statistics reporting to support the implementation
- Individual needs strong Java, KAFKA and NIFI experience.
- A minimum of 10+ years’ experience in systems and solution consulting, experience as Data Architect
- Experience in Confluent Kafka Capacity planning, installation, administration/Platform management and deep knowledge of Kafka internals
- Experience in Confluent Kafka Cluster, Security, Disaster recovery, Data pipeline, Data replication, Performance optimization
- Experience of Kubernetes and Confluent Operator
- Experience in Data Ingestion and Streaming tools
- Hands-on experience in setting up and running Azure and AWS Data platforms. Hands-on working knowledge on cloud native data components
- Extensive background in Systems Architecture, Clustering & Distributed Systems, Programming, Security, Networking & Load Balancing, Monitoring, Scripting and Automation gained in large mission critical infrastructures
- Strong programming experience in any programming languages with design patterns, algorithms, ETL/ELT pipeline design, and data analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain and be in control of customers under all circumstances
- Certifications on Confluent Kafka, Cloud Technologies is a plus
- Exposure to Hadoop Data platforms
- Exposure to cloud technologies like Azure and AWS, Hortonworks, MapR or Cloudera and certifications in these areas are a plus
