Bim Technician

**Introduction**:

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Design and Drafting**: Utilize Revit software to create comprehensive electrical systems drawings, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, while adhering to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

**2. Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with the engineering team, project managers, and other internal stakeholders, actively participating and contributing to project meetings, offering technical expertise, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

**3. Project Coordination**: Coordinate with the architectural and structural engineering teams to ensure the integration of electrical systems within the overall project design, resolving conflicts, and identifying potential design issues proactively.

**4. Systems Analysis**: Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of electrical requirements, load calculations, voltage drops, short-circuit analysis, and lighting calculations to determine optimal system designs.

**5. Quality Assurance**: Conduct comprehensive reviews of electrical systems drawings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and project requirements.

**6. Documentation**: Prepare and maintain clear, concise, and accurate project documentation, including specifications, schematics, reports, manuals, and other necessary technical documentation related to electrical systems.

**7. Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and advancements related to electrical design and Revit software, actively seeking opportunities to enhance design processes, workflows, and efficiency.

**8. Mentoring and Training**: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Revit Technicians, helping them enhance their skills and knowledge in electrical design and Revit software usage.

**Requirements**:
**1. Education**: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

**2. Experience**: A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Revit Technician, preferably specializing in electrical systems.

**4. Technical Expertise**: Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

**5. Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and present complex technical information concisely.
