Job Title: Quality Control Officer/Executive

Reports to: Quality Control Manager/Head of QC

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products by conducting testing, inspection, and documentation activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Testing and Analysis:
1. Conduct chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

2. Perform analytical methods validation and verification.

3. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.

Quality Control Processes:
1. Inspect incoming materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.

2. Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.).

3. Implement and maintain Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Documentation and Compliance:
1. Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.

2. Prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (CoA).

3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (cGMP, USP, EP, etc.).

Investigations and Deviations:
1. Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and deviations.

2. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Training and Development:
1. Participate in training programs for self and colleagues.

2. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends.

Other Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Production, Research and Development (R&D), and other departments.

2. Participate in audits and inspections.

3. Maintain laboratory safety and housekeeping.
