Secondary French Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery**: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the ICSE curriculum, adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**: Assess student progress through various methods like assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to support their learning.
- **Classroom Management**: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to participate and excel in French.
- **Communication**: Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns or questions.
- **Professional Development**: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in French language teaching and participate in relevant training programs.

Qualifications:

- **Educational Background**: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in French language or literature is typically required.
- **Teaching Qualification**: A B.Ed. or equivalent teaching degree is usually mandatory, especially for CBSE-affiliated schools, according to in.jooble.org.
- **Language Proficiency**: Excellent command of both written and spoken French is essential.
- **Experience**: Prior experience teaching French in a school setting, especially with the ICSE or CBSE curriculum, is often preferred.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective teaching and classroom management.
- **Additional Skills**: Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online platforms can be an advantage.
