**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching French**:

- Deliver high-quality lessons in French to students from [Grade/Class levels].
- Design lesson plans that are interactive, engaging, and aligned with the curriculum standards.
- Teach French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
- **Assessing Student Progress**:

- Monitor and assess students’ progress regularly through tests, assignments, and class participation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents about academic performance.
- Conduct oral and written assessments to evaluate language proficiency.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Prepare and update course materials, resources, and lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum and students' learning levels.
- Integrate cultural elements related to French-speaking countries into lessons to promote a holistic understanding of the language.
- **Extra-Curricular Activities**:

- Organize and participate in French language clubs, language exchange programs, and cultural events.
- Encourage students to explore French culture, such as through film, literature, music, and cuisine.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, especially in interdisciplinary projects.
- Regularly communicate with parents regarding students’ progress, challenges, and achievements.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain discipline in the classroom while ensuring that students are motivated and engaged.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning, including organizing and maintaining materials.

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree in French is preferred.
- Additional certifications in language teaching (such as DELF, DALF, or TEFL) will be an advantage.
- **Experience**:

- Previous teaching experience as a French Teacher, ideally in a school environment.
- Familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, or other national/international curricula is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in both spoken and written French (native or near-native level).
- Ability to explain complex language concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good classroom management skills.
- Creativity in lesson planning and teaching methodology.
- **Desirable Skills**:

- Familiarity with language learning technology (e.g., apps, language learning platforms, multimedia tools).
- Passion for teaching and working with students of different age groups.
- Ability to incorporate French culture into lessons to make the language more engaging.
