Join us as a Desk Strategy Associate
- You’ll analyse market related data, trends, and events
- Hone your programming skills and advance your career in this exciting, fast paced role
- You’ll ensure desk strategy activities are in line with policies covering conduct, operational, and regulatory risks

**What you'll do**:
As a Desk Strategy Associate, you’ll be developing strategies to enhance trading or sale opportunities for the business. You’ll be working closely with economic teams across the world to formulate an opinion on global economy.

Your role will also involve:

- Tracking and commenting on macroeconomic data releases, forecasting model results, financial market data and political developments
- Creating data from various economies with intent to predict the impact on global economy
- Building and maintaining products, forecast packs, data previews and reviews
- Writing and publishing thematic research reports
- Collaborating with team members globally on sales and trading requests and projects on economics research
- Leading learning and development on your team

**The skills you'll need**:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a strong academic background and at least six years’ experience in macroeconomics research and thematic reports.

You’ll also need:

- Experience in people management and working with global stakeholders
- Strong Excel programming skills and an analytical mind-set
- Working knowledge of economic and financial market databases such as Bloomberg and Haver
- Excellent communication skills
