The successful individual in this position will be able to make an immediate effective contribution by drawing upon their previous experience and developing it further by utilising expertise within Coalition globally.JOB PROFILEThe job involves conducting industry and financial research to support clients and contributing to internal knowledge building efforts. Typical projects will involve gathering, analyzing, synthesizing and presenting data using structured methodologies and frameworks. Projects may take couple of days to several weeks for completion.RoleDevelop basic understanding of financial institutions’ and corporate entities and their hierarchy’s and map the informationResearch and analyse derivatives information for corporate entities by using annual reportsAssist senior members in the team in accumulating, analysing and summarizing data & information from public sourcesExtracting data from Coalition Media Source list for input on DNACommunicate his/her ideas/thoughts through qualitative informationManage/prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines while working on multiple projectsCandidate profileStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze dataFluency in spoken and written English is essentialExcellent working skills with MS office tools, especially good at advanced Excel and PowerPoint.Experience in writing macros will be an added advantageA strong degree of independence and self-motivationPlanning & organizational skillsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSThe successful candidate will have to demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes likely to have been gained over two to five years relevant experience:MBA or post graduate degree in finance, business management, statistics, economics or similar analytical fields.Professional certifications like CFA, FRM, CAIA etc. would be an added advantage.Strong quantitative skills, an analytical mind and an ability to work with significant amounts of data, both numerical and qualitativeAbility to take decisions while working with unstructured and limited informationResponsible attitude and ability to complete tasks in a timely mannerWell developed interpersonal and active listening skillsSound knowledge of global capital markets products preferredA strong degree of independence and self-motivationFluency in spoken and written English is essentialExcellent working skills with MS office tools, especially good at advanced Excel and PowerPointWorking knowledge of professional information services like Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters etc preferred Required abilities Physical: Other: Work Environment Details: Specific requirements Travel: Vehicle: Work Permit: Other details Pay Rate: Contract Types: Time Constraints: Compliance Related: Union Affiliation:
