Introduction:
What will you be doing?
- Act as the primary Finance Business Partnering point of contact, for SCPs and BMs for advisory support, providing insights & analytics and appropriately check and challenge financials and plans of the respective area
- Support the Senior FBPs. SCPs and BMs to analyse and interpret cost performance with a good understanding of key drivers and provided insightful narrative.
- Work in partnership with Strategic Cost Business Partnering teams to ensure full alignment, accuracy and ownership of the cost financials.
- Support processes / initiatives across the FBP team as required ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support transformation activity in the Finance function by ensuring cost targets reflect challenges agreed and track actual savings and efficiencies.
- Management reporting - Provide insights and commentary on MI.
- Resolve queries and ad-hoc requests by stakeholders
- Planning and Outlook
- Prepare planning and outlook templates for review with SCPs/FBPs
- Review Comp / Non-Comp / FTEs, Capitalization, Amortization, Recoveries, Application Support and Application Hosting (Equipment costs incurred centrally) - for shape, accuracy and anomalies

Budget transfers within same business and across multiple businesses. Support SCPs/FBPs / BMs on the overall MTP/STP exercise
- Oversight of Cost Review and Analytics
- Cost Accruals / Prepayments : pre -month review of expense accruals/ prepayments and calculation of accruals & maintenance of calc models
- Global Cost Analysis by account line / cost centres
- Contractors and Third Party resources related headcount and cost comparatives
- Navigator bookings review and Projects related recharges, Capitalization booking on Projects based upon agreed Detailed Business Cases (DBCs), Amortisation impacts etc
- Quarterly IGS Attestations and Review of AUCs and Live Assets
- Preparation of Journal Entries - Any reclasses relating corrections, relating to Profit centres, Account lines, Project bookings, Service & process views
- Ensure adequate substantiation of accruals and prepayments
- Liaise with Financial Controllers/ SCPs / BMs to ensure posting of accruals, prepayments and expense re class.
- Analytical reviews of the GLs, Flash reporting, commentaries and insights
- Governance & Control
- Ensure compliance to the group wide governance and control framework.
- Manage governance calendar and cadence, including agendas, papers, reviews, meetings
- Delivery around the requirements for external Governance Forums
- Support the validation and pre-approval of Vendor Spend Business cases & contract reviews
- Support to ensure Finance related Internal audit queries and audit interim reporting are all addressed
- Provide support activities to allow programme Interlocks (Location, Capacity Creation, Workforce & Budget Transfers)

What we’re looking for:

- Strong experience in Finance function with an excellent understanding of working with leaders on a day-to-day basis
- CA / MBA or equivalent qualification
- Overall experience of 5-9 years required post qualification
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint skills and experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate the story and provide executive reporting / communication
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills a must

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Experience in financial services; on an international scale preferred
- Working knowledge of Accounting GAAPs for fixed asset and software accounting
- Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders and prioritise in the right order
- Ability to drive and execute deliverables in short time frames and work with limited supervision and able to thrive in a challenging and ever-changing environment
- Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels and geographies of the organization.
- Awareness of simplification and automation tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Python etc. will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills across a variety of forums and mediums. Proven ability to distil information into key messages and deliver succinctly according to audience
