Content Strategist

**Job Overview**:
As the Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and executing a content strategy that aligns with our overall marketing goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and design, to create high-quality, engaging content across various channels. This role requires a blend of creativity, data analysis, and strategic thinking to ensure that our content resonates with our target audience and drives measurable results.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Content Strategy Development**:
Develop a comprehensive content strategy that supports business objectives, drives audience engagement, and positions [Company Name] as an industry thought leader.
- **Content Planning & Calendar Management**:

- **Audience Research & Persona Development**:
Conduct audience research to understand customer needs, pain points, and preferences, and develop audience personas to inform content creation and messaging.
- **Content Creation & Optimization**:
Write, edit, and optimize high-quality content that is aligned with SEO best practices, engaging, and informative. Ensure content is tailored to different stages of the customer journey.
- **SEO & Keyword Strategy**:
Implement an SEO strategy to drive organic traffic, optimize existing content, and ensure that all content is search-engine friendly, leveraging keyword research tools and SEO best practices.
- **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams**:
Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to create integrated campaigns and ensure content supports business goals, product launches, and branding initiatives.
- **Content Performance & Analytics**:
Monitor content performance through analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.), track KPIs, and provide regular reports on content effectiveness, recommending optimizations and adjustments as necessary.
- **Content Distribution**:

- **Brand Voice & Consistency**:
Maintain a consistent brand voice across all content while adapting to different platforms and audience segments. Ensure that content adheres to the company’s style guide and messaging standards.
- **Content Innovation & Trends**:
Stay updated on industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company’s content strategies remain innovative and competitive.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- 3+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or writing roles, with a proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging content that drives results.
- Experience in SEO, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and how content supports overall marketing goals.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Experience with content management platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and optimize content strategies.
- Creative thinking with a strong understanding of brand storytelling and audience engagement.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- **Bonus**:

- Experience with video content production and visual storytelling.
