Reports To: General Manager / Managing Director / CEO
Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a key role in supporting the General Manager in all aspects of business operations. This includes overseeing daily activities, ensuring departmental alignment with organizational goals, and driving performance and profitability. The AGM also helps in implementing strategies and policies to promote growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support & Oversight
Assist the General Manager in managing day-to-day operations across departments.
Ensure smooth and efficient workflows, addressing issues as they arise.
Monitor key performance indicators and help develop plans for improvement.
Team Management
Support in supervising, coaching, and mentoring team members.
Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Assist with recruiting, training, and retaining employees.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Collaborate with the GM in developing and executing business strategies.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
Provide input on new initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Financial & Budgetary Responsibilities
Support in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial performance.
Assist in cost control initiatives to achieve profitability targets.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained.
Compliance & Policy Adherence
Help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Uphold company policies and procedures at all levels.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
5-7 years of relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a dynamic environment.
Proficiency in [industry-specific tools/software].
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
