**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for Product Management for Standard Database of Smart Reference Data from Hexagon Capability Center India (Product deal with managing all aspects related to the engineering data, and information management of design catalog)
- Ensure the efficient organization, integration, and maintenance of design catalog data, aligning with industry standards and best practices to support engineering projects.
- Working with the Corporate PO will be responsible for delivering the strategy / Road map / positioning for releasing new enhancements in ALI product suite.
- Responsible for managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities. - Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototype. - Manage the requirements
- Interact with Product Owners / Business Development / Support / Development / Sales unit(s) and drive the solution to achieve business goals.
- Responsible for communicating with Customers effectively and manage their expectations in the owned areas of ALI products suite.
- In-charge for Project Performance / Monitoring & Reporting of Project status to the stakeholders
- Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues and Research to address any issues that may arise.
- Assist / Update Executive management with detailed plans / Status for controlled advertising, promotion(s) and sales aids in accordance with the annual plan.
- Additional responsibilities may include aid in pre-sales activities / Conduct workshops with customers and other stakeholders / Conference presentations & demonstrations

**Education / Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Engineering / Technology in Mechanical / Electrical or Equivalent with expertise on Design Tools Catalog Management
- A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant work experience within the engineering domain

**Skill Set Required**:
**Domain Skills**:

- Strong understanding of the Engineering domain and plant design including methodologies and practices in industries such as Oil & Gas, Bio Process industry and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).
- Expertise in managing materials catalog with a focus on adhering to international standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, EN, DIN, Process Industry Practices etc.
- Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools like Smart Reference Data and Smart Materials, particularly in modules related to Component and Piping Specification Management.
- Catalog Definitions and their integration with design tools.
- Ensuring data consistency across various engineering platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance practices specific to engineering data management.
- Experience in ensuring adherence to technical standards for data consistency, integrity, and compliance.
- Proven track record in managing and administering plant design catalog, ensuring effective use and configuration of design tools.
- Experience with design tools such as Smart 3D, CADWorx, E3D, and others relevant to engineering design and modelling.
- Knowledge and experience in creating symbols for Smart 3D (Added Advantage).

**Technical Skills**:

- Exposure / experience in software development processes like Agile, Scrum / SAFe etc.
- A brief understanding of Cloud environment and SaaS Applications.
- Power User of Computers in General. (Basic understanding of OS its peripheral tools etc.)
- Knowledge on SQL / Oracle relational databases and basic understanding of sequential queries.

**Soft Skills**
- Strong communication / negotiation skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and willing to work under pressure.
