The Unit Finance Controller is responsible for the financial management of the hotel’s operations. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. The controller also ensures compliance with all financial regulations and provides key financial insights to the hotel management to drive profitability and cost control.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management**:

- Oversee all financial activities including revenue, expenses, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate and generated in a timely manner, in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Work closely with the hotel management team to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Analyze and track actual financial performance against the budget, and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- **Internal Controls**:

- Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls to protect assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Ensure effective controls are in place to safeguard hotel revenue, such as cash management, payment processing, and financial transactions.
- **Audit and Compliance**:

- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, and ensure that financial practices meet all relevant legal requirements.
- Monitor and update financial records to comply with all legal and industry standards.
- **Cost Control and Financial Analysis**:

- Perform regular cost reviews and financial analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Work with other departments to implement cost-saving strategies without sacrificing service quality.
- Analyze departmental P&Ls (profit and loss), identify inefficiencies, and suggest solutions.
- **Team Management and Development**:

- Supervise and train finance department staff, ensuring the development of a skilled and motivated team.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve employee performance.
- **Reporting and Communication**:

- Provide financial reports, commentary, and recommendations to hotel management on a regular basis.
- Act as the liaison between the hotel’s management and the corporate finance team, communicating financial status and key performance indicators.
- Assist in developing financial strategies and business cases for new initiatives or projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
